as “Tintoreras”, is a chain of small islets full of cove and hidden beaches. It is located in the south and about ten minutes from the dock of Villamil Port. Its name derives from the abundant reef sharks (tintoreras) which are often seen resting in shallow channels along the coastline.
The Journey to Tintoreras is short, a brief walking tour across lava formations is included. During the trip you will see the Galápagos Fauna such as: Galápagos penguins, sea lions, blue footed Bobbies which often rest in the rocks, marine turtles, iguanas, manta rays, shorebirds, herons.
fterwards, we get back on the boat to go snorkeling to a quiet spot and swim to experience the rich Galapagos marine wildlife such as: angel fish, starfish, sea urchins, sea lions, stingrays, sea turtles, sharks and countless species of colorful fish, after the snorkeling you will return to the main dock around midday.
Departures are every day and the trip takes around three hours in a small fishermen boat.
