Tour Information

Arrive at the Hacienda and you will be received with delicious fried plantains and cocoa juice. The plantation tour begins right after, where you will go through an amazing cocoa plantation, and will also see mangos, papayas, and other species from our Dry Tropical Forest.

You can participate in the harvesting of cacao and the fermentation and drying process. At the end you will visit to the chocolate factory. Back at the hacienda´s house they will be expecting you with a typical coastal lunch.

Hacienda El Castillo

We will understand the kind of jobs done by the people of the region and we will see where those products are developed. A lunch will be served at around 13h00.
Hacienda El Castillo also has a Chocolate Factory which is possible to visit, and to taste the product.
Visitors can enjoy the peace and tranquility found in this place, surrounded by trails that run through the plantations. Our idea is to provide a relaxed and welcoming environment to those who visit this farm.
