important to know what options you have to move from one island to the other and which routes are available before you plan your trip, here are some details you should know:

Not all the islands are accessible by ferry, some of them can only be visited through a daily tour or cruise.

The ferry routes only cover San Cristobal, Santa Cruz and Isabela.

There is no direct route between Isabela and San Cristobal, you will need to make a stop in Santa Cruz. This means taking the morning boat to Santa Cruz and the afternoon one to your final destination.

The average time per ride for the ferry is about 2 hours, but it can get longer depending of the sea conditions.

There are some additional costs in Santa Cruz and Isabela, due to the fact that you need to take a water taxi to reach the boat or the dock. This fee must be paid in cash while using the taxi, usually it is around 1 dollar.

It is important to be there at least 30 minutes before your departure schedule because your luggage must go through an inspection conducted by the environmental authorities (ABG) to ensure that we are not transporting anything that could damage the environment.

Each passenger can carry a 23kg suitcase and a handbag. Make sure your luggage is securely locked.
